A Little About Me

I’m Sterling M. Cusack, a middle grade and young adult fantasy author based in Winnipeg filled with stories waiting to be told. My journey as a writer started in childhood, scribbling tales of adventure in the margins of my school notebooks. Over the years, that passion has blossomed into a love for crafting intricate worlds and unforgettable characters.

My Inspirations

• Classic Fantasy: Authors like J.R.R. Tolkien, Anne MacAffrey, and George R.R. Martin inspired my early writing.
• Mythology: Tales from various cultures have fueled my imagination.
• Real-Life Adventures: Traveling and not getting in my wife's way raising our twin daughters influence my storytelling.

The Forgotten Dragon Tower: A Synopsis

Princesses Anya and Hayley are identical twins, but they couldn't be more different: one breaks every rule in the book, and the other memorizes them. But their lives collide when they sneak into a sealed tower and accidentally awaken a magic that has slept for two centuries: dragons.

Now, dragons have returned to a world that has forgotten how to care for them. As Midnight and Sunriser are still vulnerable, the girls are locked in a desperate race to understand the magical bond connecting them to their beasts before the castle discovers their secret.
